about MHSS:
The Malayan High School of Science (MHSS) is a private secondary
educational institution established in 2005, and it is managed and operated by
the Mapua Institute of
Technology (MIT).
ACADEMICS
MHSS is very fund with
the student’s academics. That is why we have professional teachers here in
Malayan High School of Science to teach and lecture our students to the best of
their expertise and abilities. Teacher’s in MHSS graduated with their Bachelor’s
Degree courses and some are still taking up their Masters Degree. They only
came from the best schools of their course. Which are University of the
Philippines (UP), Mapua Institute of technology (MAPUA), Pamantasan ng Lungsod
ng Maynila(PLM), Philippine Normal University (PNU), University of Santo Tomas
(UST) and many more. Teacher’s guide our students to reach their goals and
dreams with Discipline, Excellence, Commitment, Integrity and Responsibility, not
only to one self but also with others. These 5 traits make up the School’s “Core
Values” mainly DECIR.

For the Students, they
get to learn more ideas and facts in the school’s library. The school’s library
has computers, books, magazines, Novels and many more. Students get to borrow
books from the library and they can stay there until it closes. Reading is a
good way of learning. It helps you enhance your vocabulary, your grammar and you
get to encounter deep words. So if you love reading the library is the good
place for you. Student’s who indulge themselves
into sports are free to enhance their skills in the school’s gymnasium or in
the field.

ACTIVITIES
In Malayan, you get to
experience many activities that will either enhance your academic or activity
skills. We have the “Nutrition Week & Malayan Fun Day” in which students
are aware of their health and they get to participate in competitions that have
winning prizes. The “Buwan ng Wika” in which we celebrate every August of the
year, Leadership Training Seminars, Outreach Programs, Fieldtrips, students get to watch at the
Cultural Centre of The Philippines for Bayanihan Shows, Soiree Nights,
Foundation Day, Intramurals and other activities outside the school.
Why study in MHSS?
What’s
good about Malayan High School of Science is that it is the first Private
Science High School in Manila. You get to encounter good facilities of the
school, good teachers and the campus is held safe with our Security Guards
always on watch.
MHSS is a Free WIFI Zone School. Students get to use their
smart phones in their free time when there is no class or its break time. The school is surrounded with emergency
sprinklers and smoke detectors to ensure the safety of your child.
Malayan
High School of Science is an Anti-Bullying School. Because, students in Malayan
nurture one another to achieve good friendship, understanding and to be a good
role model to all.
